Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies.Responsibilities include:Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure architectures using OpenStack and OpenShift.Deploying, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure resources, including compute, storage, and networking components.Maintaining and optimizing cloud control planes and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.Developing and maintaining automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.Integrating cloud infrastructure with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.Participating in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.Maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.Supporting capacity planning, incident management, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.RequirementsFor this position, we require:7–10 years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure technologies, including OpenStack and OpenShift.Proven experience deploying OpenStack/OpenShift using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage.Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments.Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.RHCE certification is preferred.Preferred SkillsThe following skills are a plus:Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.Understanding of cloud security best practices.EducationA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
