Job Title: Senior Cloud ArchitectThis role is an individual contributor position with significant responsibilities. Key expectations include:Designing and architecting new cloud services and features.Leveraging engineering expertise, from early specifications to development, unit testing, integration automation, and deployment.Collaborating with architects, product management, and other engineering teams to build services and product features.Creating technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate ideas effectively.Participating in production issue resolution and developing solutions to prevent future issues.Required Skills & ExpertiseFamiliarity with microservices architecture, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns, and frameworks is essential.Experience in scaling and leading teams using cloud technologies is highly valued.Strong computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of design and performance of algorithms are required.Mastery of Java SE (Java 8+), including functional programming, streams, lambdas, and concurrency APIs is necessary.Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL is expected.Familiarity with database fundamentals and hands-on experience with MySQL/Postgres/MongoDB is required.Understanding of API versioning, security (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and documentation using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI is necessary.
