Job Opportunity:Gabeo.ai is a fast-growing health technology startup partnering with leading healthcare organizations.We build AI-driven products for revenue cycle management, helping hospitals recover lost revenue and understand their data.Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI and Flask).Design High-Performance Services: Architect and implement high-performance async FastAPI endpoints for healthcare billing analysis.Manage Data Infrastructure: Manage and optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar), including schema design, complex queries, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.Develop Cloud-Native Solutions: Build cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run for containerized deployments, Cloud SQL for managed databases, Cloud Storage for object storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub and related services for pipelines and messaging.Implement Security Features: Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2) and security best practices across services.Support Frontend Components: Support frontend components with Next.js and React when needed.Collaborate on Golang-Based Projects: Collaborate on Golang-based projects such as parsers, system tools, or desktop utilities.Maintain Desktop Applications: Maintain and enhance desktop applications built with Fyne (Windows and macOS).Optimize System Performance: Optimize API response times and overall system performance.Write Clean Code: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with strong unit and integration test coverage.Participate in Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of our systems.RequirementsProficiency in Python: Proficiency in Python (FastAPI and Flask) for designing and building scalable backend services.Experience with SQL Databases: Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar) for managing and optimizing data infrastructure.Knowledge of Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform) for developing cloud-native solutions.Understanding of Security Features: Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2) and security best practices.Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.What We OfferA competitive salary, opportunities for growth and development, and a dynamic work environment.
