About Sol's ARC: Sol’s ARC is a registered NGO that has been working in the space of inclusion for the past 20 years. We work with the most marginalized group of individuals, those who have disabilities, mental illness, critical illness or are violence-affected to ensure they have equitable access to education and economic opportunities. Through a lifespan approach, we work towards our vision- Every Child Learns, Every Adult Earns.
Role: To review the content developed across subjects in Hindi. The primary responsibilities will involve simplifying complex words, integrating local examples as per the given geography and its dialects, maintaining grammatical accuracy, and reviewing materials across subjects. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development:
- Adapt and modify comprehensive curricula across subjects for primary and secondary education (Grades 1-12) in Hindi that align with the National Curriculum Framework.
- Integrate inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated learning techniques for diverse learners, including children with disabilities
- Develop/translate lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, assessment, and evaluations tools aligned with grade content.
- Ensure that content is grammatically strong, culturally relevant, age-appropriate, and aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
- Incorporate innovative approaches to make learning engaging and impactful.
- In Depth review of subject content based on the standard Hindi Language.
- Simplify complex words and concepts to cater to the comprehension level of age-specific learners .
- Integrate examples and scenarios from local contexts in states to enhance relatability and engagement.
- Ensure grammatical accuracy and linguistic precision in all materials and communications.
- Develop, Review and refine educational materials in Hindi across subjects to meet quality standards and educational objectives.
2.Research and Alignment:
- Conduct research to stay updated on best practices in curriculum design and pedagogy for Hindi education.
- Align the curriculum with learning outcomes specified by educational policies and frameworks, such as NEP 2020.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum
3.Training and Support:
- Collaborate with teachers and trainers to pilot and implement the curriculum.
- Provide training and guidance to educators on using the curriculum effectively.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders (teachers, students, and parents) and revise the curriculum as needed to improve its effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
1.Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field.
- A degree or certification in curriculum development, instructional design, or education technology is a plus.
2.Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing Hindi curricula across subjects for primary and secondary education (Grades 1-12).
- Experience in working with inclusive education or special education is highly desirable.
3.Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Hindi language and literature.
- Familiarity with state and national education board.
- Ability to design creative and engaging teaching materials.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for curriculum development, such as MS Office, Google Suite, or education software.
4.Personal Attributes:

- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
