We are looking for a Penetration Tester with deep technical expertise in black-box testing, networking, and Active Directory exploitation. Professionals holding certifications like OSCP, CRTP, or equivalent will be given preference.
Role Description
As a Penetration Tester at Cyberion Labs, you will be responsible for simulating advanced cyberattacks to identify vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and systems. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in conducting in-depth black-box testing, assessing Active Directory environments, and analyzing network security architecture to uncover and exploit weaknesses.
You will design and execute sophisticated attack scenarios, leveraging advanced tools and custom scripts to replicate real-world threat tactics. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to document vulnerabilities, provide actionable insights, and recommend effective mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will stay at the forefront of emerging cybersecurity threats, continuously refining your techniques and methodologies to address evolving risks.
This role demands a high level of technical acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering robust security solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute black-box penetration tests on complex infrastructures, applications, and networks to uncover vulnerabilities.
- Perform comprehensive Active Directory assessments, including exploitation, privilege escalation, and domain dominance techniques.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of network security architectures, including VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint systems, to identify weaknesses.
- Design and simulate sophisticated attack scenarios, including phishing, lateral movement, and data exfiltration strategies.
- Document findings with precision, providing actionable recommendations and detailed risk mitigation strategies in comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement remediation strategies.
- Continuously monitor and analyze the evolving threat landscape to enhance testing methodologies and tools.
Required Technical Expertise
- Black-Box Testing: Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and frameworks.
- Active Directory Security: Advanced skills in identifying and exploiting domain misconfigurations and vulnerabilities (e.g., Kerberoasting, Golden Ticket attacks).
- Networking Protocols: Expert-level understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and other key network services.
- Offensive Toolkits: Proficient in using Metasploit, Burp Suite, BloodHound, Responder, and Nmap.
- Scripting & Development: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash for crafting custom exploits and automation scripts.
- OS Exploitation: Experience in exploiting vulnerabilities on Windows and Linux systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-recognized certifications: OSCP, CRTP, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with red teaming and adversary simulation tools.
- Familiarity with web application testing, OWASP Top 10, and API security.
- Knowledge of cloud environments and their unique security challenges.
- Experience with compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).
