Senior Engineering LeaderWe are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to drive innovation and lead our technology teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery of integration projects.Main Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Lead 2-3 medium-sized projects and manage 3-4 subsystems.Team Management: Oversee a team of 10-20 resources (including contractors).Collaboration: Work closely with your Director to ensure alignment with business priorities and project objectives.Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and direction to evaluate third-party systems and their integrations, prototype new components as needed.Process Optimization: Ensure alignment with company standards and procedures, proposing optimizations for existing processes to expedite day-to-day work.Data-Driven Decision Making: Be data and metrics-oriented, driving informed decisions through analysis.Vendor Partnerships: Foster strong vendor partnerships that encourage collaboration and offer improvement opportunities for functionality, reliability, and cost savings.Talent Development: Provide team members with an environment of coaching, mentoring, feedback, and staff development.Leadership: Hire, coach, train, and lead a high-caliber and diverse team of professional technology specialists who will provide development expertise and guidance across IT.Requirements:10+ years of application development/engineering and/or data architecture experience.5+ years of experience leading effective development teams that are both technical and functional.Proven ability to deliver against project schedules and timelines with quality.Demonstrated ability to proactively manage key objectives of costs and benefits associated with implementation and operation of technology services.Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across the organization.Ability to communicate at both a technical and executive level.Results-oriented, willing to take responsibility, and accept accountability for action.Strong communication and leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to lead and influence IT professionals across the enterprise.Comfortable with ambiguity, high degree of initiative, and sense of urgency.Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interact with senior management, technical subject matter experts, and business customers.Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
