Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Senior Merchant – Production at Super Overseas Pvt. Ltd. in Noida. The Senior Merchant will oversee the execution of garment export orders from sampling through shipment, ensuring seamless coordination across buyers, suppliers, production, and quality teams. This role requires strong expertise in production planning, buyer communication, sourcing, and quality assurance to ensure timely, high quality deliveries that meet international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers and buying houses on order status, approvals, and production updates.
• Coordinate with sampling, production, and sourcing teams to ensure timely development and execution of orders.
• Prepare and monitor production schedules, ensuring orders are completed on time and as per buyer requirements.
• Liaise with fabric, trims, and accessory departments for timely procurement of raw materials.
• Oversee production processes to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, approvals, production reports, and shipment documentation.
• Work with the QA team to ensure pre-shipment inspections and buyer standards are met.
• Track shipment schedules and coordinate with logistics for on-time dispatch.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues promptly.
• Negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality.
• Ensure strict TNA adherence through BlueKaktus ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in production merchandising within the garment exports industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and large-scale production processes.
• Proven experience handling international buyers and global brands.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); BlueKaktus ERP system experience preferred.
• Familiarity with international compliance standards, export documentation, and quality protocols.
