Month end close process includes reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.Review of bookkeeping across various accounts including AP, AR, payroll entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.Tax planning, compliance, and financial controls advice to leadership.Maintenance of general ledger, chart of accounts, and documentation for transparency and accountability.Preparation of audit ready reports and coordination with auditors to ensure seamless audits.Advisory services on tax planning, compliance, and financial controls to support business growth.Development and refinement of accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Creation of cash flow reports, forecasts, and budget comparisons to inform business decisions.RequirementsActive CPA license is mandatory.3 to 7 years experience in public accounting or finance is required.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax rules is essential.Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms is necessary.Able to work independently and communicate effectively is crucial.Experience with multistate filings is a plus.Ability to join immediately is preferred.Desirable SkillsHands-on experience with tools like Gusto, BILL, Ramp, Dext, or Netsuite is beneficial.Background in real estate, e-commerce, or professional services is advantageous.Expertise in fixing messy books or handling first time audits is desirable.
