Must Have:
Design, develop, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines
Ability to architect and create reference architecture for Kafka Implementations
Troubleshoot Kafka related issues
Strong understating on secure deployment of Kafka solutions
Provide expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KSQL, Rest proxy and Kafka Control center
Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices
Automate routine tasks using scripts or automation tools to lessen manual work, decrease the chance of human errors, and boost system reliability
Use automation tools like provisioning using BladeLogic, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins and GitLab

Good to have:
Provide administration and operations support of the Kafka platform like provisioning, access lists Kerberos and SSL configurations
Responsible for maintaining the availability, performance and security of Kafka infrastructure. Providing Backup & Recovery and problem determination strategies for the projects

Roles and Responsibilities:
Architect, plan, and implement Azure cloud infrastructure solutions that balance simplicity, standards, scalability, extensibility, supportability, and integrity
Provide guidance on core components such as backup, recovery, supervising services within Azure and work with the infrastructure teams with expertise in their respective areas for design, implementation and integration into with on-prem private cloud
Lead migration teams and stake holder teams during migration efforts and post validation efforts.
Coordinate activities of applications teams, security, networking, infrastructure and ongoing operational support
Assist in RFP process, support POCs for existing engagements and new discussions
