Job Title: Senior Backend DeveloperWe are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and scaling microservices using Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.Strong database skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL) including indexing & optimization.Experience with caching: Redis / ElastiCache and queues: Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS.About the RoleOur company is looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer to lead backend systems development using Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.Design and develop scalable APIs for hotels, flights, bookings, payments, and user systems.Implement idempotency, retries, consistency guarantees, and fault tolerance.ResponsibilitiesBackend Architecture & Microservices:Architect and develop backend systems using Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.Build scalable APIs for hotels, flights, bookings, payments, and user systems.Search, Pricing & Booking Flows:Build low-latency services for search, filtering, availability, and pricing.Integrate with internal pricing engines and caching systems.Integrations:Integrate with external travel suppliers, hotel partners, GDS/NDC APIs.Integrate with payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, UPI).Performance, Reliability & Observability:Implement circuit breakers, fallbacks, rate limiting (Resilience4J).Optimize APIs for high throughput and sub-200ms latencies.
