Job Description -
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Experiential Learning Manager to join our team at Redwood Edutours. As an Experiential Learning Manager, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-quality educational tours that provide transformative learning experiences for students. Your expertise will help us create engaging curricula, activities, and facilitator training programs that align with our mission to foster experiential learning and deeper understanding, empathy globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Design: Collaborate with educators and subject matter experts to design and develop curriculum for educational tours, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and outcomes.
- Experiential Learning and Activity Design: Create and implement interactive and immersive activities, simulations, and experiences that promote hands-on learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Facilitator Trainings: Develop and deliver training programs for tour facilitators, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to effectively lead and facilitate experiential learning experiences.
- Impact Assessment: Design and implement evaluation methods to assess the impact, effectiveness learning outcomes of our educational tours, identifying areas for improvement and informing program development.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with educators, tour operators, and local partners to ensure seamless program delivery and foster meaningful relationships.
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with best practices in experiential learning, educational travel, and program design, applying this knowledge to enhance our programs and services.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Experiential Learning, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in curriculum design, experiential learning, or educational program management.
- Proven expertise in designing engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel (up to 20%) to support program delivery and development.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of global education standards and frameworks.
- Certification in experiential learning, facilitation, or a related field.
