About Us:

The Wedding Scroll is a dynamic wedding social media company passionate about capturing life’s most cherished moments and turning them into timeless memories. We specialize in creating high-quality, engaging, and creative wedding reels and videos for our clients.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our growing team full-time. If you have a keen eye for storytelling, a passion for creating visually stunning videos, and expertise in video editing software, we'd love to hear from you


Responsibilities:
  • Edit wedding footage into compelling videos and reels that reflect the emotions and essence of each event.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure the final product aligns with client expectations and company standards.
  • Organize and manage raw footage, syncing audio, and color grading to produce high-quality results.
  • Apply advanced editing techniques, transitions, and effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Deliver edits in various formats optimized for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and other digital channels.
  • Maintain a quick turnaround time while ensuring attention to detail and quality.
  • Stay updated on the latest wedding trends, editing techniques, and software advancements.
  • Manage and maintain a library of assets and backups.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, ideally in the wedding industry or a similar creative field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro (both are mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Familiarity with color grading, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics.
  • Knowledge of social media video trends, formats, and specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • A creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work is required (wedding-related projects preferred).

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with 4K video editing and drone footage.
  • Proficiency in After Effects or Photoshop for basic animations or overlays.
  • Familiarity with creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
