Job Title: Strategic Utility Modeling ExpertAs a key member of our data-driven organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining precise and accurate calculation models that guide billing and analysis for utility customers.The role requires a deep understanding of database concepts and provides an opportunity to drive positive energy consumption habits and catalyze a clean energy future.Responsibilities include analyzing complex utility tariffs, rates, and programs, converting them into models, and maintaining/updating them based on additional requirements.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to tariff logic in internal tools and external products.Participate in sprint planning and other ceremonies, working passionately towards fulfilling committed sprint goals.Perform validation and regression testing on products and follow change management processes while releasing tariff model updates to higher environments.Monitor shadow bills match rate against actual bills, investigate root cause if it falls outside acceptable limits, and resolve the issue accordingly.Generate impactful ideas and implement effective automations and efficiency improvement initiatives to reduce time consumption and error-prone nature of labor-intensive manual tasks.Share knowledge and provide expertise on modeling systems, tariffs, and existing models and processes to team members.Continuously create and maintain documentation for requirements, enhancements, and developed processes.Required Skills and Qualifications:Expertise in database concepts and modeling systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Benefits:Opportunity to work on high-impact projects.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.Professional growth and development opportunities.Others:Contribute to a clean energy future.Drive positive energy consumption habits.
