Academic Manager Role OverviewA key responsibility of an Academic Manager is to guide educational centres through virtual learning and curriculum development.Implementation of curricula and centre activities under close supervision.Centre audits and regular communication with Headmistress and Teachers staff.Timely provision of information and feedback to the Headmistress.Coordination of cross-country curriculum meetings.Data collection and maintenance for centre-related activities.Admission monitoring at centres, including publicity events.Establishment of new centres and training of staff.Hand-holding and training of new Headmistresses.Development of mutual trust and respect among team members.Maintenance of confidentiality in all centre-related matters.Collaboration with the Headmistress to solve problems rather than providing directions.Active listening and serious consideration of feedback from team members.Prioritization of student safety and clear boundary setting.Reliability in attending meetings at the Head office.Progress reports from department heads.Policy adherence and compliance.Event planning and execution throughout the year.Interviews and appointments of Headmistresses.Regular updates of dockets and PowerPoint slides.Analysis and fact maintenance from centres with mentors.Director reporting with updates.Social media management and content creation.Parent query replies and quality assurance.Marketing workshop development.Preparation of collateral materials for publicity.Creation of Prep materials like annual planners and holiday lists.
