Role: Junior Architect

Role Summary:  


The Junior Architect at BHIVE Workspace will assist in the design, planning, and execution of coworking spaces, ensuring that each workspace reflects BHIVE’s brand standards and functional requirements. You will support the Senior Architect and collaborate with project teams, focusing on drafting, concept design, and project documentation. This role offers hands-on experience in creating inspiring and functional coworking environments that meet client and operational needs. 


Key Deliverables:  


Design Development: Assist in the development of design concepts, layouts, and visualizations for new and existing workspace projects. 


Drafting and Drawings: Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software under the guidance of senior team members. 


Project Support: Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure designs are implemented as per project timelines and specifications. 


Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address any on-site challenges, and ensure construction aligns with design plans and standards. 


Documentation: Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, revisions, and material specifications. 


Material Selection and Specifications: Support material selection, ensuring aesthetic, durability, and cost-effective choices that align with BHIVE’s design standards. 


Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs meet local codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. 


  • Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design, preferably in coworking, or corporate interiors. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). 
  • Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
