Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Team Lead- US Accounting and Bookkeeping to setup our team in Pune, with the flexibility of some remote work. The Team Lead- US Accounting and Bookkeeping will be responsible for leading a team of accountants, reviewing financial statements, managing timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met. The successful candidate will help develop and execute process improvements and support a high-functioning and motivated team while delivering high-quality work to our clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and US taxation
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in US accounting and bookkeeping
- Prior experience leading a team
- Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and drive process improvements
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience with real estate accounting is a plus
