Team Lead- US Accounting and Bookkeeping

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Team Lead- US Accounting and Bookkeeping to setup our team in Pune, with the flexibility of some remote work. The Team Lead- US Accounting and Bookkeeping will be responsible for leading a team of accountants, reviewing financial statements, managing timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met. The successful candidate will help develop and execute process improvements and support a high-functioning and motivated team while delivering high-quality work to our clients.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExcellent knowledge of US GAAP and US taxation5-7 years of relevant work experience in US accounting and bookkeepingPrior experience leading a teamDemonstrated ability to generate new ideas and drive process improvementsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperience with QuickBooks and other accounting softwareAbility to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCPA certification is a plusExperience with real estate accounting is a plus
