We are a cutting-edge company combining state-of-the-art AI/ML technology in a mass-market consumer app that will radically simplify the field of freelancer tax returns, starting out in the US market first. The product has already made taxes easy & fun, by bringing a tinder-like experience to ordinary expenses. The results are phenomenal. We are now looking to take design to the next level, combining aesthetics, interface design, user psychology and deep AI to create the most powerful experience in the world within our domain.

The technology team possesses deep experience in building products at the cutting edge of information retrieval, NLP, AI, and ML. The team carries a perfect blend of technology and business skills and counts itself among the alumni of reputed institutions such as the Wharton School, IIT Bombay, and leading Silicon Valley and Wall Street firms.


Responsibilities:

-Preparation, review and filing of 1040 tax returns with schedule c

-You will have an opportunity to be the designated signer on the returns you will prepare

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in 1040 tax return preparation and filing

-Must have CCH Axcess software experience

-Experience on 1120, 1120S, 1065 returns is preferred

-CPA/EA preferred

-Must have great communication skills - written and verbal

-Customer interaction to get documents & any other information related to tax filing

-Preparation of response in case of IRS audits

-Involvement in advisory / tax planning for the users in off season


Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):


-2+ years of experience in US tax preparation is a must.

-Being a CPA/ EA is a plus.

-Very strong verbal and written communications skills is an absolute must

-Must have good knowledge of US Tax preparation and filing, covering Form 1040 - Sch C.

-Knowledge of 1120, 1120S, 1065 is a big plus.

-Experience with Tax Filing for SMBs is a plus.

-Strong Decision making, analytical and prioritization skills.
