About the role:

As a Tax Senior, you’ll use your knowledge and analytical mindset to prepare Tax returns. You’ll work independently and collaborate with a diverse group of talented Tax professionals to deliver exceptional Tax client service delivery. you'll work with clients under the guidance of a Senior/Manager to exceed client expectations. You will use our cutting-edge tax tools and process flow steps to process data provided by clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.
  2. Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
  3. Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
  4. Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations and Focus on Quality.
  5. Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  6. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
  7. Review the work of Tax Preparers and act as 1st Level reviewer.
  8. Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Partnerships, Corporations, Individuals and Trusts.

Having a minimum 2 years of direct client interaction.

  1. Provide excellent timely client service, deliver high quality work and strengthen client relationships.
  2. Effectively work in an outsourced environment.
  3. Exercising professional skepticism and judgement.
  4. Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborating and working with multiple teams demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work.

Need to Have:

  1. Masters/bachelor’s in accounting or related field.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in US Taxation
  3. Experience of Handling a team size of 3-4 members in a previous firm.Strong Written and Spoken English with email etiquette. Good understanding of cultural references specific to the US English

Good to Have:

  1. Relevant work experience (i.e. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
  2. Strong Written and Spoken English with email etiquette.
  3. EA Certification
  4. Proven ability to lead and manage Tax projects
  5. Experience in developing and implementing Tax strategies
