Job Title: Digital Financial Services ExpertWe are seeking an experienced expert in digital financial services to support our clients in emerging markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital transformation, technology strategy, and core banking systems.The successful consultant will work closely with our teams and client institutions to assess current digital capabilities, design and implement digital strategies, and build institutional capacity to deliver inclusive, technology-enabled financial services. This will include supporting the development of digital products and services tailored to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and promoting financial inclusion through technology-enabled delivery channels.The primary objectives of this assignment are to provide strategic and technical advisory support to our clients in the areas of digital transformation, MSME banking, and affordable housing finance. This includes:Key Responsibilities:Digital Strategy and IT Advisory: Assess existing IT systems and provide strategic recommendations to optimize digital capabilities and align technology infrastructure with business objectives.Digital Finance Capacity Building: Provide advisory support for clients in relation to their digital finance capacity building, especially on digital transformation, MSME banking, and affordable housing.Digital MSME Banking Solutions: Advise on the design and implementation of digital banking products and services tailored to MSMEs, with a focus on digital MSME lending.Capacity Building and Digital Transformation: Support clients in developing and executing digital transformation strategies, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, data analytics, and automation.Requirements:At least 12 years' work experience in digital financial services within the financial sector, including consulting and banking, preferably in emerging markets.Strong technical skillset across core banking systems, digital payments, internet & mobile banking systems, and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills combined with sound business acumen.Ability to communicate well in English and respond rapidly and flexibly to client needs, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit a detailed resume highlighting relevant experience, a short technical proposal outlining their approach to the assignment, and examples of similar work undertaken.
