Windows Server and Hosting Support EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Windows Server and Hosting Support Engineer to join our cloud hosting operations team. The ideal candidate will manage, support, and troubleshoot Windows-based environments used for application hosting workloads.This is a unique opportunity to grow in sales and business acumen while working with the latest tools and technologies related to Windows Server, VDI, Cybersecurity, Backups, Network/Server Monitoring.Main Responsibilities:Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.Configure and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user/session management.Administer and optimize Remote Desktop Services (RDS) multi-user environments.Perform server hardening, updates, and ongoing system performance monitoring.Manage file permissions, shares, profiles, and storage allocations.Hosting Support: Provide application hosting support for QuickBooks Desktop and Thomson Reuters software in a multi-tenant environment.Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot hosted applications.Handle user access issues, session problems, printing issues, mapping drives, and performance complaints.Coordinate with application vendors when needed for escalated issues.Client Support:Serve as a primary technical contact for hosting clients.Troubleshoot remote user connectivity issues including RDP/SSL/VPN.Provide timely and professional communication across email, tickets, and calls.Assist with user onboarding, environment setup, and migration tasks.Cloud Hosting & Operations:Monitor system health, uptime, CPU/RAM usage, and resource allocation.Assist in provisioning new servers, scaling resources, and maintaining high availability.Participate in backup verification, disaster recovery testing, and security compliance routines.Document environment changes, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.What You Will GainA competitive salary commensurate with experience post internship.Flexible work environment with opportunities for professional development and growth.RequirementsTechnical Skills:Excellent understanding of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user/session management.Knowledge of Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and server hardening.Experience with file permissions, shares, profiles, and storage allocations.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
