Peoplesoft HR Systems Specialist

Job OverviewThe ideal candidate for this role will possess strong technical skills and a deep understanding of Peoplesoft systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our organization.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with business partners and developers to gather requirements and analyze existing systems.Participate in feasibility studies, project planning, and tracking to ensure timely delivery and highlight potential risks and dependencies.Develop and implement technical designs to enhance Peoplesoft applications and improve user experience.Deliver projects related to HR automations, benefits, and payroll enhancements, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to existing processes.Study and resolve technical issues in MSS, benefits, and NA payroll, leveraging expertise in database administration and report writing.Provide technical support and training to internal customers, empowering them to perform their daily tasks efficiently and effectively.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience working with Peoplesoft systems, including SQR, App Engine, PeopleCode, AWE, Component Interface, and Peoplesoft Security.Minimum 5 years of experience working with Peoplesoft HR systems, including MSS, Core HR, NA Payroll, and Benefits.Proficiency in writing complex Oracle SQL queries to analyze data and write reports, resolving production issues efficiently.Ability to write and customize database reports using SQR, as well as proficient knowledge of Peoplesoft delivered SQR reports.Prior experience working on implementation or upgrade projects, with a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, with excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.Experience working with COBOLs and Linux shell scripting for automation is highly desirable.
