Architect and Deliver Strategic SystemsAdGrid is hiring a seasoned technologist to lead the design, development, and operation of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems.About the RoleAs a Full-Stack Developer cum Tech Lead, you will be responsible for translating business goals into actionable technical strategies, architecting systems that meet scalability, security, and performance requirements, and leading cross-functional teams to drive project delivery from start to finish.Key Responsibilities:Define technical direction and ensure alignment with business objectives.Develop high-quality software solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, and other relevant technologies.Lead planning, estimation, and execution across services and frontends.Collaborate with engineers to mentor, set code standards, conduct reviews, and manage stakeholders.Design and operate on AWS/GCP/Azure, optimize cloud costs and performance, automate with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Develop expertise in backend and frontend technologies, including REST/gRPC APIs, async/event-driven patterns, caching, resilience, and observability.Model relational schemas, tune queries/indices, use Redis, build streaming pipelines with Kafka, and implement OWASP controls and encryption.Own CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration, blue/green and canary deployments, feature flags, and FinOps practices.Technical RequirementsBackend Expertise:Java 17+Spring Boot/Spring CloudREST/gRPC APIsAsync/event-driven patternsCachingResilienceObservabilityFrontend Leadership:Modern SPA (React/Next.js preferred)Component standardsPerformance budgetsAccessibilityDX toolingCloud Optimization & Computing:Design and operate on AWS/GCP/Azure (AWS preferred)Right-size compute/storage/networkingOptimize cost/performanceAutomate with IaCReliability & Security:Define SLAs/SLOsInstrument SLIsImplement OWASP controlsSecure secretsEncryption in transit/at restDrive incident response and postmortemsWhat We OfferWe are committed to providing our technologists with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and professional development.
