As an AI/ML Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building production-grade services using Python/FastAPI with low latency, reliability, and observability.The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of NLP concepts, experience with LLM APIs, LangChain, and vector databases, as well as hands-on experience with Docker, FastAPI, or CI/CD pipelines.We offer a dynamic and innovative work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a competitive compensation package.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild production-grade services in the request/response path using Python/FastAPI with low latency, reliability, and observability.Develop and train ML models for classification, ranking, and anomaly detection, improving accuracy through solid feature engineering and error analysis.Optimize inference performance by profiling and optimizing CPU/GPU usage, batching, quantization, and ONNX deployment.Design and implement robust data/ML pipelines for training and inference using Python and SQL, ensuring versioned datasets, deterministic preprocessing, and schema validation.Conduct experimentation, selecting metrics such as AUC, F1, PR-AUC, and MAE, running ablations, and documenting decisions.Pack and deploy models/services using Docker and FastAPI, adding health checks, logging/metrics, and CI/CD integration.Maintain drift/performance monitoring, alerting, and shadow/enforce rollouts with safe rollback paths.Collaborate with backend/product teams to integrate models, writing clear READMEs, design notes, and runbooks.Required Qualifications2–3 years of experience in Data Science, Applied ML, or LLM-based product development.Proficient in Python and comfortable writing SQL for data exploration or tagging workflows.Solid understanding of NLP concepts, including Transformers, Attention, Tokenization, and Fine-tuning.Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, LangChain, and vector databases.Exposure to evaluation and red-teaming of LLMs for safety or robustness.Basic familiarity with Streamlit, Dash, or simple HTML/JS for building internal tools.(Preferred) Experience deploying ML systems using Docker, FastAPI, or CI/CD pipelines in a startup or research setting.
