Build to last and go production mindset versus build as proof-of-conceptStrong background in software engineering and design patterns Experience in microservices and serverless architectureKnowledge in architecture patterns such as CQRS, event-sourcing Design, develop, and deploy microservices and serverless applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Unit tests using Jest, along with Supertest and Postman as supporting toolsExperience with NestJs Good knowledge in multi-threaded and socket programming Instinctive desire to maintain code quality, tidiness and zero technical debt Strong understanding of testing practices (TDD/BDD), with tools like Jest, Supertest, and Postman Good with API and its design/protocol e.g. Restful, Websocket, SOAPGood understanding of Request/Response vs Async protocol Familiarity with production-grade monitoring, logging, and alertingCan work with various databases to match query and storage requirements e.g. DynamoDB, SQL, DocumentDBBuild and maintain scalable REST APIs integrated with DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, Step Functions, and LambdaExperience in cloud native architecture Understanding of data lake and data warehousing Knowledge in secured coding e.g. OWASP, XSS, CORS Experience in authentication standards and platforms e.g. JWT, OAuth, Identity FederationExperience in AWS Cloud environmentRequired Skills and QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor degree in software engineering (or related)5+ years of working experience in a technical hands on software engineering roleDemonstrable experiences in developing mission-critical systemsBenefitsWe offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a chance to be part of a high-performing team.OthersLoves challenging the status-quoAbility to work autonomously yet collaborativelyPrepared to be bold yet consistent with your engineering principlesLogical, ethnical, mature and responsibleFast learner, humble and loves to share knowledgeCalm and exercises positive level of stress in exceptional circumstances such as production issues, timeline requirements
