Regional Manager Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Regional Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the performance of the region as an independent profit center. The role involves strategic planning, sales management, operational excellence, and financial control to drive business growth and profitability.Key Responsibilities:1. Profit Centre Management:Manage regional operations to achieve revenue and profit targets by optimizing sales, overheads, and expenses.Monitor regional expenses and implement cost-control measures to maintain efficiency.2. People & Performance Management:Lead and motivate regional employees to achieve individual and team performance goals.Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to reduce attrition.3. Sales & Business Development:Develop and implement sales strategies to drive topline growth across Sundry, FTL (Paid & To-Pay), and Contractual businesses.Build strong relationships with corporate clients to generate new business opportunities.Stay updated on market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.4. Operational Excellence:Ensure efficient Sundry and FTL operations within approved parameters.Maintain high service levels while adhering to booking, dispatch, and delivery norms.Implement innovative methods to ensure safe and timely delivery.5. Financial & Credit Control:Manage regional receivables in line with company policies and credit control guidelines.Analyze regional expenses and implement cost-control measures.Oversee the flow of documents from branches to field accounts and ensure accurate bank reconciliations.6. Customer Relationship Management:Develop effective communication channels with key customers to understand their requirements.Coordinate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.7.
