We are seeking a Purchase Engineer for our client, a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical equipment and systems, to be based in Cochin.


Job Title: Associate – Purchase

Location: Cochin

Qualification: B. Tech/ B.E/ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical

Experience: 1 Year


Job Summary

We are seeking a well-organized Purchasing Officer to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar position and the ability to liaise with suppliers to align purchasing processes with sales objectives and the company's overall business strategy. The role involves managing procurement processes, sourcing suppliers, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain and cost optimization. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions, and implement best practices in procurement.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Research potential vendors.
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements.
  • Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Review the quality of purchased products.
  • Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery details, and invoices.
  • Prepare purchase reports, including cost analyses.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
