**Senior Software Quality Assurance Professional** Our organization seeks a seasoned software quality assurance professional to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement. The selected individual will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and DevOps is crucial to define and implement test strategies throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include performing exploratory, manual, and regression testing as needed. The professional will also own the quality gates for product releases and provide sign-off. Analysis of test results, debugging issues, and tracking defects to resolution are essential tasks. Strong emphasis is placed on ensuring test coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance and scalability. Proficiency in API testing using Karate Framework, Postman & Newman CLI, and UI automation testing using Playwright is necessary. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using CI/CD pipelines is required. A solid understanding of software testing principles, design patterns, and testing methodologies is essential. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with attention to detail, are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with performance testing and monitoring tools, proven domain expertise in Telecommunications, familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Prior experience leading a QA team in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment is beneficial.
