Quality Assurance SpecialistWe are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for executing manual testing processes, developing and managing test cases, and supporting the overall quality assurance process.Job DescriptionThe role involves analyzing test results, troubleshooting issues, and providing actionable feedback to the development team. You will also contribute to upholding product standards and driving continuous improvement in QA processes.Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Jest, and Postman.Conduct UI, functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve test coverage.Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.Optimize test execution time and coverage.Perform static code analysis with linters to maintain high code quality and consistency.Provide feedback to development teams on potential improvements.Work closely with Developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.Coordinate with Project Managers to align testing timelines with delivery schedules.Collaborate with Product Managers to understand requirements and design test scenarios.Engage with DevOps to enhance testing environments and deployment strategies.Required Skills and QualificationsYou should have at least one year of experience in software testing. Strong expertise in both manual and automation testing is required. Experience with test automation tools like Playwright, Jest, and Postman is necessary. Proficient in writing test cases and managing defects using tools like JIRA and TestRail is required.You should have experience in API testing (e.g., REST, GraphQL). Familiarity with performance testing using tools like JMeter is necessary. Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) is required. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines) is necessary. A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) is required.Additional SkillsKnowledge of security testing and compliance is beneficial. Experience with mobile and cross-platform testing is desirable. Familiarity with containerized testing using Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
