You will be tasked with championing POVs philosophy, culture and multi-creative approach with potential and existing clients. A dynamic, self-starter you will help translate business strategy into a compelling proposition that opens conversations with new clients and coverts them into revenue growth for the company.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Help set and break down business targets by revenue heads. Take ownership of the full funnel of activities needed to achieve the business goals. The role will have a predominant focus on new-to-agency business.
- Build and maintain client relationships: Use your existing professional network to open conversations and explore opportunities across identified brands/categories. The ideal candidate is one that has worked with CMOs, Marketing/Brand Heads and/or other business leaders over the years. This role will appeal to someone who is a natural at networking and continually seeks platforms, forums, communities where they can meet key influencers and decision makers on the client side.
- Build a business development team that has the capability to explore non personal network opportunities. Recruit best-in-class, multi-skilled people for the BD team and create frameworks and SOPs for them to ensure that opportunities go from conversations into solutions & revenue in a time bound manner.
- Review client's monthly P&L statements, and analyse impact on account and agency profitability. Work closely with Finance team on contract and fees proposals.
- Work with multiple internal teams including strategy, design, communications, social and more, to create world-class solutions decks for clients under discussion.
- Involve the brand services teams in the final stages of the process to ensure that there is consistency in experience and expectation for the client to transition into a seamless operations mode.
- Work with cross functional teams to cross-sell and grow existing client businesses based on pre-set targets. You will be expected to be a self starter on all fronts.
Experience/Qualification
- Overall 10-12 years of experience with an Advertising/Design/Digital/Social /PR/Experiential agency and/or client side experience with the Marketing, Brand and/or Sales/Revenue teams. We are open to candidates who are currently in Revenue, Monetization or brand partnership roles, especially with leading groups from the luxury, fashion, lifestyle or associated spaces. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of their recent experience with heading or leading the business development, growth or revenue efforts of the company.
- Must have a deep network that allows them to create an outreach with key decision makers leading the business and marketing efforts at Luxury, Fashion, Beauty and/or Lifestyle brands.
