Role Summary: 


You will be responsible for building and enhancing a variety of micro-saas products, both for our clients and for Smacient’s internal use. You will be expected to quickly grasp new technologies, tools, and frameworks as the need arises. We value individuals who are quick learners, adaptable, and who have a strong grasp of both the conceptual and practical aspects of development.


Responsibilities:


  • Python Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for a range of applications, using Python as the primary language.


  • Software Design & Architecture: Leverage Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to create scalable and modular software solutions.


  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with other developers, product managers, and teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client and company needs.


  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality, reliability, and scalability.


  • Real-Time Problem Solving: Work on diverse challenges across products and clients, using a practical approach to deliver efficient solutions.


  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear and concise documentation for your code, processes, and methodologies.


Required Skills:


  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.


  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and experience working with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or similar.


  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, though not mandatory.


  • Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud services (GCP preferred).


  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.


  • Ability to work and learn in real-time with a focus on continuous improvement.


  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
