Job OverviewWe're seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Leader to drive automation, performance, and data integrity initiatives across our platform. As the expert in ensuring our product meets enterprise-grade expectations, you'll oversee scalability, resilience, and continuous releases.Develop and maintain a robust automation framework that adapts to UI changes and supports seamless release cycles.Create and refine data integrity testing systems to guarantee customer isolation and prevent cross-tenant data issues.Pilot performance and load testing as part of regular release planning.Establish quality metrics visibility through dashboards and key performance indicators.Foster long-term scalability by strengthening the QA team's technical capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead QA engineering and own product quality across all releases.Build and scale test automation systems for web, API, and performance.Design and manage test data generation systems for realistic customer simulation.Partner with Engineering to integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.Define and measure key quality metrics (defect leakage, automation coverage, test pass rate, etc.).Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing for core workflows.Collaborate with Security/DevOps to validate data access, customer isolation, and compliance controls.Mentor QA engineers and promote a culture of proactive quality ownership.Requirements7–10 years of experience in QA for SaaS products, ideally B2B or multi-tenant systems.Demonstrated expertise in Ruby on Rails or similar backend-heavy environments.Deep knowledge of automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or similar).Familiarity with AWS, Postgres, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience setting up performance and load testing frameworks (e.g., JMeter, k6).Prior experience scaling from startup to growth stage ($5M–$50M ARR) is preferred.Excellent communication skills – able to collaborate with product and engineering to balance quality with speed.
