Senior Finance Solution Architect Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will join a dynamic team as part of an ongoing SAP Build initiative with a large-scale global SAP implementation. As the ECC Senior Solution Architect, they will be responsible for ensuring effective design and management of existing global templates for FICO (P2P and OTC) and SCM while contributing to new designs as the SAP project expands globally.Main Responsibilities:Serve as a key member of the ECC solution architect team to develop strategy and formulate functional design solutions.Liaise between BPA (Business Process Analysis) teams and support groups.Oversee the solution architecture for major new strategic programs within the organization.E nsure that IT estate solutions align with architectural roadmaps.Design and implement solutions to achieve successful business outcomes and align with UMG Global Design principles.Manage ownership, control, and FICO global template governance.Possess extensive SAP solution design experience.Exhibit hands-on configuration expertise in FI, MM, SD, PS, CO-PA, CO-CCA/PCA, Banking, and SAP DRC.Demonstrate good understanding of localisation knowledge.Show strong integration understanding with BI.Display experience in business process design including requirement gathering.Translate requirements into actionable implementation plans.Evaluate current and future-state data, technical, application, and business architectures to verify and modify recommended implementation plans based on BPA inputs and existing/in-flight projects.Serve as design authority for support and project delivery teams.Collaborate closely with UMG Operational Support and their team to resolve issues if required.Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, including implementation partners and support.Employ creative problem-solving skills to devise innovative solutions to complex issues.Aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and desire to research and understand new areas of SAP.Stay up-to-date with developments in areas in and around the SAP roadmap.Ability to identify best-practice solutions to intricate problems.Person Specification:The ideal candidate should possess excellent general SAP ECC skills, accompanied by a solid understanding of SAP BI.As a seasoned finance solution architect with a strong background in hands-on SAP development.Experience designing robust and high-availability solutions.Passion to deliver high-quality solutions with an unwavering commitment to excellence.Successful track record of implementing SAP global programs.Highly experienced with SAP FICO & SCM, with at least 8 to 10 implementation cycles completed.Skills and experience in ABAP & S4 HANA would be highly advantageous.Consulting background preferred.Ability to engage with and inspire confidence across all levels of the business to senior level.Accounting background preferred.Experience working in a global environment.Exposure to the media industry would be preferable.Strong communication and presentation skills.Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
