If you like building from scratch and owning big chunks of product, this is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the back end and core integrations, shipping an MVP within a set timeframe.Help us grow from 0 to our first 20+ users and beyond.You'll be:The technical lead for the platform (effectively a founding engineer).Making product decisions as much as technical ones.Turning customer conversations into shipped features and experiments.BenefitsThis is a business partner role, not a standard employee position.Milestone-based ownership of the business with a maximum of 10% ownership available as milestones are hit over time.An additional 3% long-term bonus if still on the founding team when we reach a £100m valuation.Cash compensation will start and grow as we hit product and revenue milestones.Our StackYou should be comfortable picking things up quickly:Backend: Python (FastAPI / Django / similar), APIs (REST, webhooks), background workers.Frontend: React, Tailwind CSS, SPA dashboard for customers.Infra & data: Docker, AWS, Postgres (via Supabase), Redis or queues.Voice & AI:Telephony: Twilio / SignalWire (or similar).ASR / TTS / LLMs (OpenAI etc.).RAG, vector DBs (e.g. pgvector / Pinecone).MCP servers and tool-calling style integrations.
