Job Title: Deputy Manager - FinanceJob Description:The key responsibility of the Deputy Manager is to ensure that appropriate financial and international accounting standards are implemented in all banking activities. This includes establishing and maintaining robust internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Perform a thorough analysis of the current accounting practices against international standards, such as Ind AS and IFRS.Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting gaps between existing practices and international standards for review by the management committee.Develop and implement an accounting system compliant with Ind AS to ensure seamless integration with core banking systems.Establish and maintain control procedures in accordance with Ind AS across various applications, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial data.Prepare financial statements and notes to accounts according to Ind AS and IFRS requirements, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory guidelines.Ensure that all financial records are audited in accordance with Ind AS and IFRS standards, providing assurance on the accuracy and reliability of financial information.Manage auditor interactions, responding to audit queries and ensuring timely resolution of issues.Prepare consolidated financial statements for global operations, adhering to IFRS requirements for group-level reporting.Generate management information systems (MIS) for the head office, providing critical insights into financial performance.Essential Qualifications/Experience:Chartered Accountant with 5 years' experience, including at least 2 years in IFRS implementation or review with a Big Four Audit Firm.Excellent understanding of IFRS and Ind AS principles, with the ability to apply them effectively in a dynamic financial environment.
