Healthcare Administrative Specialist

Job OpportunityThe Virtual Medical Office Assistant position entails providing comprehensive support to healthcare providers and teams.Deliver administrative and clinical assistance to care teams.Maintain accurate patient data within electronic health records (EHR) systems, particularly Point Click Care.Manage incoming calls and RingCentral settings effectively.Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and follow-ups.Prioritize and manage provider calendars and invoices in an organized manner.Process lab orders and medication refills as directed by providers.Prepare credentialing packets for providers and facilities.Ensure timely receipt and documentation of incoming faxes.Organize and respond promptly to shared email inboxes.Track and prioritize assigned tasks and workflows.Communicate with providers to confirm updates and ensure timely completion of tasks.Analyze and update patient lists to identify preventive care needs.Efficiently upload, scan, and organize documents into EHR and other applications.Support physicians and facilities with additional administrative duties.Adhere to strict compliance standards and guidelines, including HIPAA regulations.Requirements:Administrative experience and knowledge of medical terminology.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe PDF software.Familiarity with EHR systems, particularly Point Click Care.Benefits:Opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.Challenging role with opportunities for growth and professional development.Collaborative team atmosphere.
