Role Description


This is an on-site role for a site engineer installation and commissioning in Thane. The Site Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Manage and assign tasks to the Installation team.

2. On site technical discussion with client.

3. Schedule activity and work to be done on site in priority.

4. On-site material verification.

5. Material handling.

6. Follow up with vendors for material required at the site.

7. Estimation of conduit pipes/ DC & AC cables and other BOS items required at the site.

8. Timely submission of tax invoice to the client.

9. Net metering process.

10. Prepare documentation required for net metering.

11. Prepare technical drawings of the project.

12. Track project timeline and take necessary actions to ensure timely completion of the project.

13. Commissioning of the solar plant.

14. Handover of the project to the customer.


Qualifications


  • Experience working on-site
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quality control skills and attention to detail
  • Background in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • BTech/Diploma degree not compulsory
  • ITI Certification


Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, knowledge of solar energy and installation but not mandatory
