Job OverviewA platform engineer is needed to work on securing enterprise networks. The role involves integrating log sources and devices with a SIEM platform, creating and fine-tuning SIEM rules, and developing new use cases.Log source and device integration for effective threat detection.Create and optimize SIEM rules for improved security.Develop and implement incident response workflows within the SIEM platform.Conduct threat analysis using investigations and open-source intelligence.Required SkillsHands-on experience in configuring and managing SIEM platforms.Strong knowledge of endpoint detection and response tools.Proficiency in creating detection logic and correlation rules.Experience integrating threat feeds and leveraging threat intelligence.Familiarity with IR workflows and playbook development.Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.Education and QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or related field.Minimum 5 years of professional experience in platform engineering.Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, SIEM, CEH, CCNA Security, CHFI, or CompTIA Security + are preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegrate log sources and devices with the SIEM platform.Develop and fine-tune SIEM rules.Implement incident response workflows.Conduct threat analysis using investigations and open-source intelligence.
