Accountant Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate month-end close processes, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.This role will also involve collaborating with external auditors during audits and providing necessary support and documentation.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and Local GAAP.Support the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely completion of tasks.Reconcile Balance sheet and P&L accounts on a regular basis and investigate discrepancies.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and supporting schedules.Maintain proper documentation for all journal entries and account reconciliations.Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.Requirements:Degree in Accountancy with CA / CPA qualification and 2+ years of working experience in accounting and book close process.Solid knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAP (e.g., IFRS, statutory requirements).Experience with ERP system- NetSuite is preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Why Join Us:Competitive compensation package.Flexible working hours.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
