About this RoleWe seek a seasoned Financial Director to lead our finance team.This strategic leadership role involves financial planning, controllership, cash flow management and treasury operations.Responsibilities:Financial Strategy & Capital PlanningLead long-term financial planning for an asset-heavy model, including capital allocation and depreciation cyclesBuild frameworks for capex planning, optimization, and project feasibilityPartner with leadership on investment models, payback periods, and expansion planning/li>Cash Flow, Treasury & Working CapitalDrive strong cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury managementBuild mechanisms to tightly manage receivables, payables, inventory, and capex disbursementsEnsure financial readiness for scale, including efficient banking relationships/li>Controllership, Governance & ComplianceOwn the complete controllership agenda — books closure, audits (internal & statutory), policies, and financial disciplineEnsure compliance across regulatory frameworksStrengthen internal controls, risk management, and adherence to processes/li>FP&A, Budgeting & Performance ManagementLead annual operating plans, budgeting cycles, and monthly business performance reviewsBuild dashboards and MIS that provide visibility on unit economics, asset returns, project profitability, and cost structuresPartner with business teams for forecasting, scenario modelling, and financial insights/li>Multi-Entity / Project-Based FinanceManage consolidated financials for multiple entities, SPVs, or project streamsSet up governance, allocation methodologies, and financial reporting at project levelEnsure clarity in inter-company transactions, cost accounting, and shared services/li>Required Skills: CA with 10+ years of post-qualification experience. Strong experience in offline-heavy, operationally complex, or asset-intensive businesses. Deep understanding of financial planning, controllership, FP&A, compliance and financial processes. Ability to operate both at strategic and execution levels – 'hands-on, structured, and insight-driven'.We are seeking a candidate who is comfortable with fast-learning environments and has high ownership, first-principles thinking.
