LAGUNA is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Manager - Fabric Sourcing to join the FABRIC SOURCING team.
Assistant Manager - Fabric Sourcing
What you will be doing:
- Liaise with Indian / global mills sourcing Laguna product category.
- To negotiate costing, precisely open costing with the Mill.
- To be aligned with the current market, development and innovations
- To have detailed eye on the product, understand high risk factors and bridge between design and merchandising.
- To have thorough knowledge on Mill strength relating product category placement
- To Forecast next 6 months fabric bookings.
- To update brands standards and parameters to respective Mills
- To be hands on ERP for releasing PO and all commercial matters.
What are we looking for?
- B.Text and M.Text, reputed Textile institute or related field
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Good technical knowledge of fabrics, washes and sustainability
- Detail understanding of product development and manufacturing process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with a PLM system preferred.
