Technical Lead | 5 Years+ Experince | (Full-Time | Remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Engineer to join our team as a Technical Client Lead. This role combines hands-on coding expertise with client interaction and team leadership. You will actively code, guide the development team to improve their skills, and ensure the team adheres to high coding standards and best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering technical client questions and building their confidence in our team’s ability to oversee and deliver their projects.
- Actively contribute to the development of scalable, high-quality applications using TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, React, and Next.js.
- Solve complex technical challenges hands-on while setting an example for the team in terms of code quality and efficiency.
- Mentor the development team, helping them improve their coding skills and adopt best practices.
- Enforce and maintain high coding standards across the team, including code reviews and architectural decisions.
- Ensure the team follows modern practices like DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself), SOLID principles, and performance optimization techniques.
- Lead client meetings to understand requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Answer in-depth technical questions to build client trust in our expertise.
- Persuade clients of our team’s ability to successfully manage and deliver their projects, ensuring alignment between client needs and team capabilities.
- Translate client requirements into actionable tasks and technical strategies for the development team.
- Ensure the team produces clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to project goals.
- Review and optimize workflows, deployments, and application performance.
- Advanced proficiency with TypeScript, including:
- Type inference, generics, and advanced types (e.g., mapped, conditional).
- Module augmentation and decorators.
- Building and maintaining type-safe codebases for complex applications.
Node.js
- Expertise in Node.js, with a deep understanding of:
- Asynchronous programming, event loop, and performance tuning.
- Streams, buffers, and advanced debugging techniques.
- Designing and developing scalable server-side applications.
Express
- Extensive knowledge of Express, with experience in:
- Middleware creation and lifecycle management.
- Error handling, input validation, and data transformation pipelines.
- Building secure, RESTful APIs and integrating with external services.
- Strong database design and query optimization skills, including:
- Schema design and normalization.
- Writing efficient, complex SQL queries.
- Implementing transactions, indexing, and ORM tools like Prisma or Sequelize.
React & Next.js
- Proficiency in frontend development with:
- Reusable components, hooks, and state management.
- Server-side rendering and API integrations in Next.js.
- Performance optimization and responsive design using modern tools like Tailwind CSS.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical clients.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to inspire and improve team performance.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple client interactions and projects efficiently.
- Proven success in client-facing roles, leading technical discussions, and solving complex challenges.
- Hands-on contributions to fullstack projects in enterprise or startup environments.
- Experience mentoring teams, maintaining high coding standards, and delivering scalable applications.
- Remote position with flexible hours.
- Open to both full-time and part-time commitments; availability for critical client and team discussions is required.
- Candidates based in India with excellent English proficiency are encouraged to apply.
