About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect and Technical Client Lead to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time engagement, depending on your availability and fit. As the technical face of our team, you will lead client discussions, design high-level solutions, and guide our engineering team in delivering secure, scalable, and efficient systems. You will play a pivotal role in bridging client expectations with team execution while ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction:

• Lead technical discussions with clients, presenting solutions that align with their requirements and project goals.
• Address deep technical questions related to system architecture, scalability, security, and compliance with confidence.
• Represent the team during project scoping, timelines, and deliverables discussions.
• Build client trust by demonstrating technical expertise and showcasing the team’s ability to deliver complex projects.

Solution Architecture:

• Design high-level system architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
• Propose and evaluate technical solutions, considering trade-offs between cost, performance, and timeline.
• Provide technical insights into deployment workflows, cloud infrastructure, and microservices design.

Technical Oversight and Guidance:

• Guide the engineering team on best practices for secure and scalable implementations.
• Mentor team members on architectural decisions, technical challenges, and process improvements.
• Ensure technical deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards.

Security and Compliance:

• Advise on data protection strategies, encryption practices, and secure development lifecycles.
• Ensure solutions comply with frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other client-specific requirements.
• Address client concerns about security and compliance, providing clear and actionable recommendations.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

• Act as a bridge between clients and the engineering team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.
• Support team members with technical mentorship and on-demand guidance without direct coding involvement.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of modern tech stacks/languages: Node.js, Express(TypeScript/JavaScript), PostgreSQL, Flask/FastAPI(Python), Next.js etc.
• Expertise in system architecture, microservices, scalable system design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, server management, and containerization tools like Docker.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices, data protection, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Client-Facing Skills:

• Exceptional communication and listening skills with the ability to simplify technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to handle high-stakes technical discussions and manage client expectations effectively.
• Persuasive skills to build client trust and confidence in the team’s capabilities.

Leadership and Mentorship:

• Experience mentoring technical teams, providing architectural guidance, and supporting process improvements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and client engagements.
• Collaborative mindset, fostering a positive and innovative work environment.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, or similar client-facing technical roles.
• Proven track record of handling enterprise-level projects or startups, including projects with security, compliance, and scalable design requirements.

Work Setup:

• Flexibility: Open to part-time or full-time engagement based on availability and alignment with the role.
• Remote Role: Work from anywhere with the ability to attend critical meetings and discussions.
• Location Preference: Candidates based in India or Nepal, with strong English proficiency(must), are highly preferred.
