Founded in 2019, Glance is a consumer technology company that operates disruptive digital platforms including Glance, Roposo, and Nostra. Glance’s ’smart lock screen’ inspires consumers to make the most of every moment by surfacing relevant experiences without the need for searching and downloading apps. Glance Lock Screen is currently available on over 450 million smartphones worldwide. Roposo is a LIVE platform that is revolutionizing live experiences, through a unique, immersive, creator-led approach. Nostra is the largest gaming platform in India and Southeast Asia, offering gamers engaging ways to discover, play, watch, learn and compete.
Who are you?
You are passionate about connecting with people and building engaging conversations around the brand. You are a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in community management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a deep understanding of social media platforms, and a passion for building communities. This role will play a key part in fostering a vibrant and engaged brand community, both online and offline.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Building and Engagement:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the Glance community across various platforms and enhance member participation and engagement
- Foster a positive, supportive, and active community environment.
- Respond to community inquiries, comments, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Build relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to drive engagement and growth
Content Creation and Management:
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content for our community pages, forums, and other channels
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with our brand and goals.
- Monitor and report on community feedback and sentiment to inform content strategy.
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate community events, both online and offline, such as webinars, meetups, and conferences.
- Work with partners and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyse community engagement metrics and KPIs.
- Prepare regular reports on community activities, engagement, and growth.
- Use data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
Advocacy and Support:
- Advocate for the community’s needs and interests within the company.
- Provide support and resources to community members to enhance their experience.
- Identify and collaborate with community advocates to amplify the brands reach.
- Encourage user-generated content and showcase community contributions.
Crisis Management:
- Handle community issues, conflicts, and crises with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and resolve conflicts within the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in community management, member engagement, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic engagement initiatives.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage professional relationships
- Excellent organizational and event planning skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and online community management
- Ability to create engaging content and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on metrics.
- Passion for building and nurturing communities.
