Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Services Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver features, enhancements, fixes, and cloud services for Teradata SQL Engine within AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.As a Cloud Services Automation Specialist, you will develop Python-based services and automation used for provisioning, configuration, and runtime operations of the SQL Engine in public cloud environments.You will build and maintain automated pipelines for creating and validating SQL Engine images, as well as end-to-end full automation for upgrade solutions across the entire Teradata product.Required Skills and QualificationsStrong programming experience in PythonProven experience developing and managing services in AWS / Microsoft AzureProficiency in building and maintaining REST-based services with secure design practicesKnowledge of Linux system administrationFamiliarity with C, bash, and SQLExperience creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub actionsStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilitiesExperience working in an Agile Scrum environmentAbility to communicate clearly in written and verbal formExperience with DevOps automation toolsWhat You Will BringAbility to build cloud-native services and automation for large enterprise systemsExperience with distributed systems and service reliabilityCommitment to high-quality engineering practicesAbility to design and implement full automation workflows across the complete product stackExperience supporting mission-critical production environmentsAbility to thrive in a creative, fast-paced, and collaborative engineering culture
