Senior Operations LeaderThis role involves leading large complex engagements or multiple mid-sized independent engagements in a financial services operations environment. The Senior Operations Leader will be responsible for both the build and run parts of engagement/projects, with the objective of delivering agreed outcomes to clients and onshore stakeholders.Strong knowledge and experience in AML compliance and KYC CDD review/refresh, as well as new client onboarding for individual and institutional clients is preferred.The ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients, onshore stakeholders, engagement teams, and management along with good people management skills and experience are therefore essential, with a demonstrated track record of having successfully led large teams in an operational environment.This role requires building an understanding of various technology platforms used to support client delivery, with a focus on process standardization and improvement to ensure high-quality services at low cost.Mandatory requirements include:A minimum of 18 years of experience in an operational environment, with at least 5 years spent in leading Operations, and a minimum of 8 years of managing a large team (300+).Strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as budgeting, forecasting, and planning experience in an operational environment.Preferred background in Financial services industry, with exposure to Banking Operations and Risk Management under the ambit of global service delivery set-up.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use information to generate creative solutions that benefit the business, customer-focused, and drive results.Key Responsibilities:• Lead large complex engagements or multiple mid-sized independent engagements• Develop and implement effective operational strategies• Build strong relationships with clients, onshore stakeholders, and engagement teams• Manage and develop large teams• Ensure efficient and effective processes are in place
