Job Title: Data StewardWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the setup and governance of our enterprise data catalog.The role is critical in ensuring our data assets are discoverable, trustworthy, and well-documented for business and technical users across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead the implementation and operationalization of data cataloging solutions across the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to catalog critical datasets, data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and metrics.Perform hands-on metadata curation, including writing and validating business definitions, technical descriptions, lineage, and data usage notes.Profile datasets using SQL to understand structure, quality, and relationships and ensure accurate documentation.Translate complex data logic into clear, business-friendly descriptions that support data literacy across stakeholders.Coordinate with metric owners and subject matter experts to document and validate metric definitions, calculations, and usage context.Ensure adherence to data governance and stewardship standards, including stewardship workflows, ownership, and approvals.Drive user adoption and enablement by conducting training sessions, demos, and office hours.Establish and maintain data catalog key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously improve catalog quality.
