Industrial Operations Director

This role will be reporting to the Managing Director. The person will be leading and overseeing Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing and Logistics activities related to the Indian plant.


More detailed responsibilities are:


  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Indian plant in order to ensure product availability,in terms of quantity and quality, within the times required by the Supply Chain
  • Carry out demand planning activities, i.e commercial planning, based on market trends and developing production plans in the plant
  • Supervise logistic flows, coordinating the structures dedicated to transfers from production sites to logistic hubs, the supply and preparation of systems and their shipment to end customers
  • Coordinate purchasing activities from suppliers regarding components and raw materials based on production needs
  • Create synergies at Group level by defining framework contracts for common suppliers worldwide, promoting the identification of new suppliers and coordinating the dedicated structure
  • Ensure compliance with the quality criteria and standards defined through support and direction to the Plant quality structures, drafting and application of procedures, coordination of action plans in response to non-conformities, identification of improvement activities, maintenance of existing certifications
  • Coordinate activities relating to process engineering, industrialization and management of facilities
  • Industrialization of new products or product variations
  • Increase in production capacity
  • Coordinate, evaluate and develop its collaborators in Italy and abroad in order to enable them to competently and effectively carry out the assigned activities, ensuring the achievement of the Management's objectives consistently with the guidelines provided, defining their duties, responsibilities and growth plans.


The Successful Applicant:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Min. 15 years of experience in similar roles in industrial multinational companies
  • Advanced level of English
  • Strong strategic thinking and excellent leadership skills
