Business Development Manager Role OverviewThis Business Development Manager role is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional to drive growth and build client relationships in the interior design industry.Key Responsibilities Lead Management & Conversion Handle all incoming leads from various sources including marketing, website referrals, and social media contacts. Contact leads within the required response time of 30–60 minutes to schedule site visits and client meetings. Understand client requirements and provide accurate briefs to the design team ensuring seamless customer experience. Maintain and update CRM with lead status, follow-ups, and next actions. Sales & Revenue Growth Present proposals, quotations, 3D designs, and BOQs to clients highlighting value and benefits. Negotiate with clients to close deals within defined timelines while achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. Upsell and cross-sell modular furniture, decor, and add-on services to increase revenue. Client Relationship Management Build strong client rapport throughout the sales cycle by communicating effectively and empathetically. Cordinate between clients, designers, and project managers during the pre-sales stage to ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects. Collect feedback from clients and support the marketing team with testimonials to enhance brand reputation. Coordination With Internal Teams Work closely with the design, project, and marketing teams to achieve common goals. Participate in weekly review meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and align with company objectives. Required Skills & QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess: 2–5 years of experience in Interior Design Sales or premium customer-facing roles. Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to understand basic design concepts and BOQs. Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and WhatsApp follow-ups. Self-driven, target-oriented, and excellent follow-through. Performance KPIsThe successful Business Development Manager will be measured on: Monthly revenue generated. Lead-to-conversion percentage. Number of site visits completed. Proposal-to-deal closure rate. Time taken for lead conversion. Client satisfaction and feedback.
