Job Title: Software Development Engineer in TestWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, creating test cases, and performing manual testing as needed.This is a full-time remote role that requires collaboration with development teams to ensure software quality and address any issues identified during testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing quality assurance processes and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Key Responsibilities:Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, webdriverIO, or Appium.Test Case Creation: Create detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionality.Manual Testing: Perform manual testing as needed to identify and report defects.Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into the development lifecycle.Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality software delivery.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 8+ years of experience in software testing, automation testing, and quality assurance.Skills:Automation Frameworks: Proficiency in at least one automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, webdriverIO, or Appium).API Testing: Experience with API testing tools and techniques.Mobile Application Testing: Experience with mobile application testing and debugging.Reporting Tools: Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., TestRail, PractiTest) and ability to generate reports.APM Platforms: Experience with APM platforms (e.g., Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK).Soft Skills :Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.Bonus Points:eCommerce and CRM: Experience with eCommerce and CRM systems in an enterprise setting.
